Steve Valko found out first hand of how difficult dog care could be when his then fiancé got a Beagle/Cavalier King Charles mix puppy, Pepper. The issue of finding the correct helper for the new puppy during the day were quite challenging and time consuming. After researching pet care services, he found that Snaggle Foot was a terrific vehicle to help clients in the St. Louis area and fulfill his lifelong dream of starting his own business.

Steve has over 10 years’ experience (including seven years as a people leader) as an accountant for such businesses as Emerson Electric and Express Scripts. He has helped run a church singles group, been president of his condo board, and has taught a religion class for grade school children at his church. He is also very active in the community by mentoring through the Boys and Girls Club, the Matthews Dickey Boys and Girls Club, and community service projects with Express Scripts group, UpNext.

Steve is a lifelong resident of St. Louis (including going to Parkway North high school). He has gotten his Bachelor’s and Master’s in Accounting from UM-St. Louis and passed the CPA exam. On his free time, he enjoys spending time with his wife, playing softball and volleyball, watching the St. Louis Cardinals, and taking his dog on hikes and to the Arnold City Paw Park. Steve is very eager to service all your pet care needs! Please contact him for a no cost or obligation consultation!

SubasicBesides being a dog walker for Snaggle Foot, Jasmina is also an adoption counselor for the Humane Society of Missouri. I enjoy being a dog walker because it allows both the dog and I to enjoy some time outdoors and get to know each other. I also give really good belly rubs! In my spare time I enjoy biking, kayaking, and spending time with my pups, Mila and Kodiak.

BernadetteBernadette has been taking care of her own and neighbor’s pets (including dogs, cats, gerbils, fish, and reptiles) since she was 10. She am now a proud owner of a Beagle/Cavalier King Charles dog, Pepper, and enjoying training with her dog, reading, watching TV and doing stitchery. Working as an Occupational Therapist part-time, one of her goals is becoming active in doing pet therapy in the future.

BrendaHello my name is Brenda and I truly enjoy working with Steve and Snagglefoot.  Walking with the dogs and getting to know them is so fulfilling!  I have worked with a lot of animals over the years from exotics at The St. Louis Zoo, farm animals at Suson Farm and birds at The Wild Bird Rehab.  My pets have ranged from birds, rabbits, ferrets, cats and of course, dogs.  In my spare time I enjoy camping, fishing and hanging out with my 10 year old daughter.  I look forward to meeting your furry family member!
